Users
The Users section in OLAF allows application owners to manage users effectively, including listing, searching, inviting, editing, and assigning permissions. This guide provides an overview of the features available to users with the Owner
role.
User Management Features
As a user with “Owner” permissions, you can perform the following actions:
- List and Search Users
- View all users associated with your application.
- Use the search functionality to quickly locate users by name or email.
- Invite New Users
- Invite users by email. The invited user will receive an activation email to complete their registration and access the application.
- Edit Users
- Access additional details and management options by pressing the
Edit
button for a user on the list page.

The user list displays key details for each user:
- Name: The user’s full name.
- Role: Indicates whether the user is an Owner or Member.
- Status: Shows whether the user is Active or Inactive.
- Last Sign-In: The date and time of the user’s most recent login.
- Edit: A button to view or modify the user’s details.
Editing Users
When you click the Edit button, the actions available depend on whether you are editing your own user profile or someone else’s profile:
Editing Your Own Profile
If you are editing your own profile, you can:
- View Assigned Applications
- See the list of applications you have access to.
- Update Profile Information
- Modify your personal details such as name and email.
- Manage Security Settings
- Enable or disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
- Change your account password.
Editing Other Users
If you are editing another user’s profile, you can:
- View User Information
- Access their profile details, such as name and email.
- Block or Delete Users
- Block: Temporarily revoke access to all their applications.
- Delete: Permanently remove the user from the application.
- Modify User Role
- Change their role between Owner and Member for this application.
- Assign or Unassign Permissions
- Add or remove the user from custom permissions or groups as defined in the application.
Blocking Users
When a user is blocked:
- They will temporarily lose access to all applications associated with their account.
- Blocking does not delete the user or their data, and access can be restored by unblocking them.
